Editable CustomerInfo Section Title on Web & Mobile

Custom Forms
Mobile App
April 24, 2026
Feature Overview:

This update brings full customization parity to the Customer Information section. Administrators can now edit the "CustomerInfo" label title directly within the Layout Editor, matching the behavior of other section titles. This change also includes a UI cleanup by removing the legacy gray header bar, providing a more modern, streamlined look that synchronizes instantly across both web and mobile platforms.

Related Features:
  • Custom Form Layout Editor
  • Mobile App Data Synchronization
  • Company Advanced Settings (Ticket Labels)
Features/Benefits:
  • Consistent Editing Workflow – The Customer Info label now supports the same inline-editing behavior as other properties in the layout, eliminating the need for separate configuration steps.
  • Modernized UI – The static gray separator bar has been removed, creating a cleaner interface that focuses on content and data.
  • Automatic Mobile Sync – Any changes made to the section title on the web are automatically propagated to the mobile app, ensuring your field staff and office teams use the same terminology.
  • Flexible Scope – Admins can choose to update the label for a single specific form via the Layout Editor or apply a global change across all active forms via Advanced Settings.
  • Cross-Platform Parity – Maintains brand and operational consistency by aligning labels across the entire Oil Command ecosystem.
How It Works:
  1. In Layout Editor: Navigate to any Custom Form and click the [Layout] button.
  2. Modify Label: Scroll to the top of the layout. Click directly on the Customer Info label (notice the gray bar is now gone) and enter your new title (e.g., "Client Details").
  3. Save: Click [Save] to apply the change.
  4. Global Update (Alternative): To change the label for all forms at once, go to Company Information > Advanced Settings > Ticket Labels and update it there.
  5. Mobile View: On the mobile app, perform a manual sync. The corresponding field label will now reflect the new title you defined on the web.
