March 6, 2026
Feature Overview:

This update introduces a specialized Currency configuration for Integer and Decimal properties. Users can now define monetary fields that automatically display with professional formatting, including dollar signs and thousands separators (e.g., $34,900.22). This ensures financial data is presented clearly and consistently across the entire platform, from initial data entry to final printed tickets and reports.

Related Features:
  • Custom Form Property Settings
  • Ticket Print Templates
  • Custom Report Formatting
Features/Benefits:
  • Visual Currency Prefixes - When the Currency option is selected, input fields automatically display a dollar sign ($) prefix, providing immediate context for users during data entry.
  • Professional Number Formatting - The system automatically applies commas for thousands and supports decimal precision to match standard financial formats.
  • Consistent Multi-Platform Display - Formatted currency values are maintained across the Ticket Form (web), the Ticket Print (PDF), and all ticket-related views.
  • Flexible Reporting Options - Within the Report Builder, users can toggle between formatted currency (e.g., $34,900.22) and raw numerical data (e.g., 34900.22) based on the column formatting needs.
  • Universal Property Compatibility - Currency settings are available as new options for both Integer and Decimal property types.
How It Works:
  1. Navigate to the Custom Form Layout and select an Integer or Decimal property.
  2. Under the property options, select Currency → Dollar.
  3. Inside a Ticket, observe that the input field now shows a dollar sign prefix.
  4. Enter a value and save; notice the automated comma placement and symbol display in the ticket view.
  5. In the Report Builder, navigate to the column settings for your currency field to choose between formatted or raw numerical output.
  6. Generate a Ticket Print to verify that the currency formatting is correctly reflected on the final document.
