What's New?
You can now add an Audio Recording property to ticket forms, allowing users to record, upload, and attach audio files directly to tickets. This feature includes built-in recording controls, playback functionality, and automatic attachment storage—making it easy to capture verbal notes, customer feedback, or field observations without leaving the ticket.
Audio recordings are stored as standard ticket attachments and can be played back, deleted, or re-recorded as needed.
Why This Matters
- Capture information faster – Record voice notes instead of typing lengthy descriptions
- Preserve context – Store verbal feedback, instructions, or observations with full audio fidelity
- Improve field workflows – Enables mobile users to quickly document issues on-site
- Enhance accessibility – Provides an alternative input method for users who prefer or require voice-based communication
How It Works
The Audio Recording property adds an inline recording interface to your ticket forms:
- Record – Click to start recording audio directly from your browser
- Playback – Listen to recordings before or after submission
- Upload – Audio files are automatically saved as ticket attachments
- Delete & Re-record – Remove and replace recordings as needed
- Validation – File size and format are automatically checked for compatibility
This feature works seamlessly across Chrome, Firefox, Mobile Chrome, and iOS Safari.
