Feature Overview:

This update introduces a powerful "Copy Company" functionality specifically for Super Admins. Designed to accelerate the onboarding of new vendors and partners, this feature allows for the precise duplication of existing account configurations into new environments. By utilizing a "Template" approach, manual setup time is drastically reduced, ensuring consistency across multiple accounts while minimizing human error.

  • Instant Account Replication - Create fully configured vendor accounts in seconds by copying settings from a verified template account.
  • Granular Configuration Selection - Choose exactly what to carry over, including specific Custom Forms, Account Roles, and system configurations.
  • Bulk Data Transfer - Automatically migrate essential operational data such as SKUs, Job Codes, AFEs, and Custom Records to the new account.
  • Access Control Integrity - Security-first design ensures the "Copy" action is exclusively available to Super Admins to maintain system-wide safety.
How It Works:
  1. Log in as a Super Admin and navigate to Admin > All Companies.
  2. Click the [Copy Company] button to launch the configuration modal.
  3. In the "Select Company being copied" dropdown, choose the source account you wish to duplicate.
  4. Under the "New Company Info" section, enter the Name, Company Type, and other relevant details for the new account.
  5. Provide the "Support User" credentials (Username and Password) to be created for the new company.
  6. Select the specific "Copy Options" (e.g., Custom Forms, Account Roles, or Configurations) to replicate.
  7. Click [COPY] to initiate the background process; the system will log the creation and source for audit purposes.
