Purpose

This release introduces the WTI Customer Discount feature, allowing business owners to automatically adjust customer rates based on monthly market conditions.
The goal is to help maintain competitive pricing and streamline how discounts are applied across all ticket line items.

This feature supports operational needs and keeps rate application consistent across both the web platform and the mobile app.

What’s New
1. Automatic Partner Discount Application

When the custom record for a customer’s rate is updated, the system now automatically applies the corrected rate to all line items on qualifying tickets.

Key Behavior:

  • Discount applies only when a ticket is in:
    • Draft
    • Created
    • Open
  • Rates automatically recalculate based on the updated customer discount record.
  • Pricing updates flow to every relevant line item.

  • Removes manual rate adjustments.
  • Provides consistent pricing across customers.
  • Reduces errors when rates change month-to-month.
2. Full Support in the Mobile App

The discount logic is now integrated into the OC Mobile App.

  • Field technicians see accurate pricing in real time.
  • Pricing logic matches the web platform for a unified experience.
  • Cuts down on back-office corrections and rework.
3. Improved Visibility for Professional Services

Customer ID is now visible for OC Professional Services.
This update makes the identifier accessible for discount-related troubleshooting and bulk updates.

How It Works
  1. Admin updates the customer discount record .
  2. The system recalculates the customer rate.
  3. Any ticket in Draft/Created/Open receives the updated rate.
  4. All line items reflect the new rate automatically.
Outcome

The WTI Customer Discount feature is now live in Production, enabling:

  • Competitive and up-to-date pricing adjustments.
  • Automated rate application without extra user actions.
  • Accurate pricing across both Web and Mobile.
